SCHIFFINI has a proud 80 year history and is acknowledged as the first manufacturer to bring modern design to the kitchen, having begun our collaboration with Vico Magistretti in the 1960’s. Schiffini was the first to produce an all wood kitchen in 1960, and an all aluminum kitchen in 2000.
SCHIFFINI products are a balanced synthesis of design, quality, and technological innovation, with many patented features.
SCHIFFINI is also committed to safe guarding the environment: our products are listed with GreenSpec, qualify for LEED credits, are fabricated from FSC Certified materials, and our Al-System all aluminum kitchen can be completely recycled.
The Cinqueterre and Sovioire by Vico Magistretti have become modern classics of kitchen design, and are still in production. Always on the forefront of DESIGN, the newest series entitled MESA, designed by Alfredo Haberli was the most publicized kitchen at the last Eurocucina show in Milano. MESA is a welcome departure from the strict minimalism which has been the vogue; with a richer and warmer vocabulary of older materials like copper, carved marble, and massive butcher block.

Schiffini’s Contract Division is a dedicated resource for the Architect and Developer to utilize Schiffini’s technical and manufacturing expertise to interpret existing products or produce custom kitchens, bathrooms, and millwork to exact specification.
Production is extremely flexible, and can realize whatever the design requirements are for a project, working closely with the Architect and Developer. Materials available include wood veneers, glass, marble, stainless steel, aluminum, lacquers, Corian, Parapan, and laminates. These materials can be used for both kitchens and bathrooms.
Completed projects include the Riverhouse in Battery Park City, NY; a LEEDS Gold project designed by Rockwell Group and co branded with SCHIFFINI. Located in One Rockfeller Park, it is a green condominium rising on the last developable waterfront lot in Battery Park City. This building introduces not just a largely sustainable dwelling, but an “eco-luxe” lifestyle, with use of eco-materials and technology, and is home to many, including Leonard Di Caprio.
